Francene and Dr. Jeff Snell, Interim Minister

Jeff and Francene are from the same hometown (Mexico, Missouri), dated in high school, and have been married since 1989. They have three children. Allisan is married to Dane Ogden and they have three children: Emmarie (4) Kadence (2) and Lyric (5 months). Andrew is a senior at Ozark Christian College, is getting married in September, and works with at-risk juveniles. Antonia is a junior at Ozark Christian College, where she is especially focused on intercultural studies.

Jeff directs the preaching program at Johnson University, and previously served as a professor of preaching at Lincoln Christian Seminary-where he also designed and directed the doctoral program. He also served for eleven years as a professor of Bible and preaching at Ozark Christian College. He has a particular interest in equipping preachers outside the U.S. Francene has written Sunday School lessons (targeted toward children) covering most of the Bible that have been used by various churches in the U.S. and abroad.

Leading Kid's church Program.
Guiding Students to find their next steps in their relationship with God.
Helping students figure out who God is and what the church's mission is all about.

Work History: Youth Minister for 8yrs at First Christian Church in Newport TN. Whitewater Raft Guide on the Pigeon River during the summers in Newport. Counselor for abused and neglected youth at Camelot Residential Treatment Facility in Kingston TN for 4yrs. Currently working full time as Director of Environmental Services at Life Care Center in Athens TN.

Hobbies: Scottish Highland Games, Weightlifting, Gardening, Hiking/Backpacking, I'd like to hike the entire Appalachian Trail someday.
